Kasia Kozakiewicz – Designer

My name is Kasia and I'm a freelance illustrator from Poland, currently living and working in Edinburgh. I have an architectural background and after 3 year architectural working journey, I've spent some time off and decided to travel. After returning back to the UK I've decided focus more on drawing and illustrating when the pandemic hit and my cafe job was on hold and therefore I had time to grow my skills. And here I am now - working full time as a self-taught illustrator.

As person with architectural background I developed important skills such as multi-tasking, working well under the tight deadlines and therefore I'm not afraid of a hard and challenging opportunities and would rather take them to get myself out of the comfort zone and expand my creative horizons. I've been developing my personal style ever since I've started drawing on the tablet and I'm always experimenting with different textures and colour palettes. I always put 100% into every commission and I know how important it is to ask questions and to communicate clearly with clients to achieve the best results.

The topics I'm the most comfortable with are social and environmental issues and surrounding world of flora and fauna, but I'm more than happy to challenge myself with anything that comes as an opportunity :)
