Scottish Artist and Illustrator. Studied Visual Communications at NCAD Dublin, graduated 2005. Creative freelance with flair and good cheer.
I am a farmers daughter and live on a beautiful island off the north of Scotland. This has shaped much of my work. I have worked for private and commercial sector. Clients include NHS, The Scottish Parliament, Hachette and Storlann. Published titles include 'Made up Muck?' written & illustrated by myself, 'A small Town Affair' and 'The Trouble with Keeping Mum' both by Rosie Wallace plus Jim Hewiston's latest 'Our Crazy World'. My first self published children's book was titled 'Janice Wants to be Heard'. The latest is called 'Janice and the Special Breakfast'. I illustrate a bi-monthly safety article for Orkney Farmer Magazine.
Worked as part of a small enthusiastic team within local radio station whilst completing my degree. The daily deadlines of typing scripts and working with the general public made this a hectic, yet enjoyable workplace.
