I have been a freelance illustrator for past 13 years. I am a working mother. I grew up on a farm so have a great respect and love for the outdoors. I studied in Dublin and then took part in an exchange programme to Finland in 2004. I have shown my work in joint and solo exhibitions throughout the UK.I have also enjoyed supplying gift shops and galleries with my prints and books. Being an illustrator means listening closely to my clients needs and finding the most exciting visual solution. I love pencil, watercolour, acrylic and seeing a job completed.

My first self published children's book was titled 'Janice Wants to be Heard'. The latest is called 'Janice and the Special Breakfast'. I illustrate a bi-monthly safety article for Orkney Farmer Magazine.
