Work experience
Elle Magazine
Designing print layouts for the magazine, marking up images for retouching, attaching and routing copy in Woodwing, putting layouts into first and final edit passes, art direction for native advertising, commissioning illustrations for my sections of the book, updating the front of book wall
Interior Design Magazine
Designed print layouts for the magazine, preflighted and proofed all pages for print, assisted marketing designers with presentations and other digital assets as needed, prepared SPD entries, collaborated with all departments throughout the closing process each month
Ujima Blues Foundation—The Lowdown Magazine
Designed graphics and layouts for the inaugural issue of The Lowdown, an annual magazine serving the worldwide blues dancing community; responsible for establishing a cohesive but flexible style for the publication
Basis Technology
Designed multi-platform social media share images, created whitepages and datasheets, designed booklets explaining AI, laid out event schedules for web and print, copy editing
Honest Projects
Worked with clients on branding/design projects from start to finish, created original logos and branding campaigns, designed pitch decks, business cards, and other collateral for the Honest Projects brand
Counterpoint Magazine (Wellesley College)
Responsible for graphic design and layout, taught InDesign to new layout staff; November/December 2014 issue was runner-up in the magazine layout/design category in the 2014 Bookbuilders of Boston New England Book Show
