I am a graphic designer and art director specialising in typography and illustrated reference with over 18 years experience. I collaborate with major publishing houses world-wide, often across varied genres and subjects. My services include cover design, interior typographic design, art direction, commissioned photography and illustration as well as project management and consultation.
Clients include: BBC Books, Laurence King, Quarto, Watkins, Pinter and Martin, Pearson and the Welcome Collection.
Blok Graphic is a London based design studio. From book covers to branding we work with our clients on a range of different media. We offer services which include graphic design, art direction, branding and project management.
During my employment with this award winning studio, I worked with many publishers including Penguin, Harper Collins, Orion and BBC books. Other projects involved DVD and audio CD packaging for Opus Arte and Gimell records. I also designed brochures and magazines within the culture and arts sector.
I designed and project managed print related jobs over a six year period. Day-to-day responsibilities included scheduling and budgeting, and commissioning illustrators, photographers and models. I also liaised
with authors and in-house editorial staff and worked with repro-houses and production personnel.
