Overview

Hey there, I’m Julie Prescesky.

How can I help you? Well, let me tell you a bit about who I am and what I do.

Mother to three teenagers, when I’m not quietly whimpering to myself, “I just can’t win”, I’m knee deep in my creative pursuits. I love graphic design because it allows me to be simultaneously creative and pragmatic and that is just sweet music to a gal who keeps a slow drip dripping on both sides of her brain. It allows me to help people realize their visions for their businesses and books, and I’ve always been the kind of person who revels in being the helper, the sounding board.

I love illustration and surface pattern design for much of the same reason – functionality. Making art that is nice to look at and useful too, appeals to me.

I've worked with big companies like Just For Laughs, and Blendtec and I've worked much more with small businesses and people just like you who have a dream and need someone to come along side to help bring it to life. I really believe in the power of storytelling. I really believe that it is a cornerstone of a healthy society because of how it helps us decode our own emotions and tell our own stories. And emotional maturity is just good for everyone in every situation.

I’m a proud member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and serve as Montreal Coordinator. We run monthly gatherings to talk about our craft, the industry and to forge contacts and good friendships.

If you have a need for gentle creative guidance, illustration and/or design services, contact me and let’s talk about your project.
