Overview

As an adept editor with more than ten years of experience, I have a well-rounded background in editing and proofreading. Most recently, I was a senior editor for HIM Publications, where I project-managed approximately ten books at a time and interacted with multiple authors on a daily basis. I also did all the levels of editing for each book: developmental editing, macro editing, copy editing, and proofreading.

As a freelance editor, I edit books for children, young adults, and adults. Some of the major authors for whom I've edited/proofread books are Jim Putman, Sarah Young, Rachel Cruze, Emily Ley, Louie Giglio, Bob Goff, and more.

Jared started on time and finished early with all the changes I expected, cleaning up the areas that I knew needed help. He also did more than I was expecting, adjusting some of the formatting, leaving helpful comments about my content within the edited document and gave me advice on how to move forward with my book. Most of all, he made a lot of sections read much better.

Thanks, Neil! I'm glad you were happy with the results!

Jared did an excellent job editing my book. It was my first attempt at writing. So, I had tons of errors, poor grammar, punctuation, and references that needed follow-up. He was able to correct all and make my book flow more consistently. He also made great recommendations on how to make my book more complete. I will definitely be using him again.

Thanks, Anthony!
