Brianna McCabe – Editor

Editor and coach with 15+ years of helping writers clear the clutter and reveal the essential. I specialize in transformative nonfiction.

Overview

Hello! I’m Brianna. I’m a coach and editor, and I love helping my clients identify the essence of their book and then shape that essence with clarity and personality. And no surprise, this makes for powerful books that people actually want to read!

I provide editorial assessments, developmental editing, and book coaching (I don't copyedit or proofread).

I work on essay collections, memoirs, and nonfiction that engages topics of personal transformation, mindfulness, and spirituality. I also love writing that has a sense of humor and playfulness.

If you want potent writing energy and a manuscript that sings, get in touch.

She was generous and thorough with her suggestions and was very helpful in identifying the main areas I needed to work on to bring my book to the next level. Brianna was both quite encouraging and rightfull...

Brianna is well informed, very self-aware and astute. These are characteristics that I found really important for the type of writing I do. Aside from this, Brianna provided excellent feedback on the editorial assessment, and carefully guided me toward bringing more structure and grounding to what was a very large and dynamic text. I would love to continue working with her.

Brianna was amazing. Her guidance, coaching and help in organizing and strategizing for my book were superb. She saved me a lot of wasted time and money with her comments during our meetings and feedback notes after. They were so valuable. I would recommend her with zero reservations to anyone who like me is trying to figure out where all of the pieces of writing and marketing a book fit. Her h...
