Kami Hancock – Editor

With 160+ books under my editing belt, I have worked in book publishing for ten years and veterinary journal publishing for nearly three years prior. I have worked in everything from submissions to a managerial editorial role. I particularly enjoy fun suspense twists, clean romance, and intriguing historical settings. Some of my favorite edits have been on Anneka Walker's Enchanted Regency Romance series (rewritten fairy tales), Gregg Luke's Red Cicada (suspense), and Dana LeCheminant's Never Doubt I Love (historical romance).

I believe editing is a collaborative process, and I want authors to feel comfortable asking questions (or even raising a friendly argument if a change doesn't fit the author's vision for their story). I invite an open dialogue throughout the process. While I will be honest to help authors make their stories the best they can be, I understand the courage it takes for authors to allow others to edit their work, so I will always strive to be kind and respectful in any guidance I provide. I'm excited to help authors put quality, uplifting stories into the world!
