Overview
I am a developmental editor with over ten years of experience working on all kinds of books, from award-winning Napoleonic history to paranormal romance and everything in between. Projects I've worked on have been published with Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Avon, Berkley, Quirk Books, Inkyard Press, and Scholastic, as well as self-published by their authors. I'm always interested in working on genre fiction and YA fiction, especially romance with a paranormal or historical bent, as well as work about history.
Whatever your project, I want to help you make every sentence better. Developmental edits take many forms depending on the needs of the client and the project. I am responsive, curious, and thorough, and I want the experience of being edited to be good. My goal, no matter what, is to give you an edit that gets you excited to continue working on your book.
Please do get in touch if you'd like to work together!
