Gus Condeixa

Gus Condeixa – Designer

Overview

Creative Director of the Jewish Quarterly magazine.

And this would be a nice time to write every possible cliché about me: the team work things, the attention to detail, all of that. Things which are expected from a professional, I suppose. I rather speak about me, realistically.

I smoke a pipe, have a majestic beard.
I believe rain is actually quite inspiring.
I like a coffee mug in my desk.
I like challenges and I like working on concepts.
I work hard and focused to achieve the best work possible.
I am also fun to have around (this is actually mentioned in my references).

As a visual artist, I am interested in contemporary art – my practice is installation and collage.

As a goalkeeper for Alexandra Park FC, I fully live the joys of playing in grassroots football.
Occasionally I have some MOTM awards and some injuries. Also, a passion for retro football. As the editor of the APFC newsletter I ended up writing a lot about football. I am living the dream!

My work soundtrack is usually prog rock and documentaries.
