I am a published humorist, author, attorney, former English teacher and former publisher. I am eager to do more of the work I love - preparing words for mass consumption.

I have been writing for the past four decades in a variety of media. As an attorney, my job is to prepare writing which will persuade decision makers. To do so, I must succinctly lay out facts and then prepare an argument using law. As a partner in a bustling law firm, I spend all day writing legal memoranda; asking questions designed to provoke thought and elicit answers; and drafting transactional, estate and contract documents of every sort.

I have worked for a legal textbook publisher and developed legal textbooks and ancillary items. I am a writer and a former teacher and am therefore adept at navigating documents with proper editing and style. I am a writer who regularly publishes humor pieces, essays and fiction in various online and print publications. An essay I wrote last year won first place in the Maryland Writer’s Association’s creative nonfiction contest.
