Overview
I am a professional literary translator and, soon after receiving my master's degree in Literary Translation (Bologna University, School for Interpreters and Translators - Forlì), I started working with one of the major Italian publishers (Mondadori). I've been working in this field for almost ten years now. My main working partners are Italian publishers, but I would welcome the opportunity to translate for new kinds of customers.
I would be thrilled to work closely with an author or a publisher, involving them in the process of translation (something we translators rarely get to do) and exchanging opinions and ideas, since I believe this is the best way to reach an excellent result and determine the success of the book in the target market. My goal is to deliver an accurate and timely translation, always keeping in mind my target readers and what the author is trying to tell them.
