Ezra Byer

Ezra Byer – Ghostwriter

Hi there! I'm a ghostwriter for Forbes Books, and I help business leaders turn their ideas into finished manuscripts.

Overview

For the past several years, I've served as a ghostwriter and book planner for Fortune 500 CEOs, nonprofit leaders, healthcare professionals, academic influencers, and government officials. While much of my personal writing is faith-based, my work with clients has led me into various spheres of influence. Some of these include memoirs, entrepreneurial life adventures, Christian nonfiction, and books on business leadership.

My goal as a ghostwriter is to listen closely to each author I work with and do my best to mirror their voice. Not everyone is a writer or has the time to produce compelling content. It's easy to stare at a blank screen, hopelessly wishing inspiration will magically descend in a cloud of pixie dust from the heavens. I’ve been there. But this is where I can help.

Together, I will help you overcome your writing barriers and turn your concepts into a finished product. Chances are, you already have a great idea. Now, all you need is someone who can help you turn that idea into reality.

I look forward to connecting!

Aug, 2020 — Present
My goal as a ghostwriter is simple: I aim to help authors turn their ideas into polished manuscripts ready for a Copy Editor. And over the past five years, I've ghostwritten nearly thirty manuscripts.

Discovery Pointe Church

Sep, 2014 — Oct, 2019 (about 5 years)
For five years, I pastored a church on the east side of Toronto, Canada, focusing especially on working with new immigrants and those in impoverished communities. This provided me with a deeper understanding of the church, immigration, and the role of nonprofits, which has served me well when working with authors in these areas.

Ezra Byer did an outstanding job helping me bring my book "Wealth Follows Values" to life. I’ve always considered myself a pretty good writer, but writing a book taught me just how much goes into turning ideas and stories into something cohesive, engaging, and well organized. That’s where Ezra m...
