Overview
I have over five years of experience of Agent Assisting at Mushens Entertainment and Madeleine Milburn Literary Agency. The primary genres I've worked across are literary, book club/reading group, historical, crime/mystery/thrillers, and fantasy. I'm represented by Suzannah Ball at WME for my debut accessible literary novel and I was longlisted for the Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize for the same novel.
I'm neurodivergent and chronically ill and an avid reader about disability, so I would be able to offer sensitivity reading in this area, alongside offering specialist editing and mentoring. Also, I'm a playwright, with 2025-26 Develop Your Creative Practice funding from Arts Council England and I've previously been longlisted for a few theatre awards, including for the Theatre503 International Playwriting Prize.
I'm a thorough, enthusiastic, and encouraging editor, who will always tell you a good amount of what is working alongside making suggestions for changes. My reading speed is also very fast! I absolutely love getting stuck into a manuscript and working with an author to make it sparkle and to achieve the author's vision fully.
