Diane Krause

Diane Krause – Editor

Experienced copy and line editor with book publishing experience. Also work as a publishing partner for self-publishing authors.

Overview

I love working with words, and I love working with authors who are serious about their stories and their craft.

Through the editing process, I help authors polish a manuscript so it's the best it can be. We plug holes in story lines or messages, we tweak language, we smooth out rough spots, and we search out every last punctuation and grammar error we can find. Editing can be tedious and painstaking, but is a profoundly rewarding process when an author beams over his finished product.

In 2014, I expanded my editing services to include a broader range of self-publishing services, and from that, Southern Road Publishing Partners was born. I serve as a publishing partner for independent authors who don't want to go it alone. As one client put it, "If I have to do all this **** by myself, it's just not worth it." Partnership services include anything the author can't, or doesn't want to, do themselves, which includes everything from working with freelancers to setting a book up for print-on-demand and managing social media.
