Overview
As a professional freelance illustrator from Kingston, Ontario, Canada my first love is nature. Living in a country that abounds in rugged natural beauty gives me all the inspiration to illustrate beautiful, richly colorful artwork that I think provides a unique style, yet time honoring. I loved to be challenged with characters of all sorts and have illustrated many throughtout the 30 books I have illustrated for Mascot Books and several private clients.
A professional illustration project requires excellent communication will shine through the constant communication -- from character development and storyboard through to the finished rendered proofs. I will maintain that communication at each step, always paying close attention to what the client envisions and adding my owns insights were I feel they are required. This process will achieve polished, professional illustrations that will help to make your story come alive and stand out.

I am a hard working freelance illustrator specializing in children's books illustration.
I have illustrated over twenty five children's books for the hybrid publisher Mascot Publishing, and and also for the former Tate Publishing.
I have also produced book cover illustrations and other various illustrations for independant clients.
