Even before I finished both, I started experimenting with the new improved powers I felt I had adquired. Like this, I became a literary translator and used my magic to connect people from countries where English, French and Italian are spoken to those who live in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. Since then, I have translated several famous authors such as Agatha Christie or Jane Austen. Also, I have collaborated in projects such as Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish's books Clanlands, Clanlands Almanac or Waypoints. Apart from that, I have experience in many different genres, such as romantic novels, children's literature, fantastic books...
I would love to keep spreading my magic. Will you be the next one to be puzzled by it?
For you to know I'm not lying, here I leave a few testimonials from authors and publishers I have worked with:
"Thank you for making sense of what we’ve written!!!!". Graham McTavish, author of Clanlands and Clanlands Almanac.
"Cristina, I have worked your translation. Thank you for everything!". Igor Bedê, author of The Dream Maker.
"Cristina has conducted the translations assigned with efficiency, enthusiasm and an excelent aptitude. Among her multiple virtues, I stand out her professionalism and realiability for the job, as well as her ability to look for solutions for the projects. That's why I recommend her work as a translator". Cristina Martínez, former publisher of Ático de Libros.
