Cristina Z. – Translator

Hi! I am Cristina. I pretend to be a literary translator, but I'm actually a magician who plays with words. I realized I had this power when I was a kid and I have the necessity to read everything that had letters. This way, I decided to train myself in this field, so I went to Howards (aka, the University of Alcalá, in Madrid). There, I studied not one, but two degrees related to literature: Modern Languages and Translation, and English Studies.

Even before I finished both, I started experimenting with the new improved powers I felt I had adquired. Like this, I became a literary translator and used my magic to connect people from countries where English, French and Italian are spoken to those who live in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. Since then, I have translated several famous authors such as Agatha Christie or Jane Austen. Also, I have collaborated in projects such as Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish's books Clanlands, Clanlands Almanac or Waypoints. Apart from that, I have experience in many different genres, such as romantic novels, children's literature, fantastic books...
