I have copy edited both fiction and non-fiction titles for Macmillan, including WHITE HORSE by Erika Wurth, which was chosen as a semi-finalist for Goodreads Choice Awards for 2022 in the Horror category, and BUILT TO LAST by Erin Hahn.

Are names and places spelled correctly? Are there repetitive phrases or information that can be nixed? Are words used correctly within the context of the sentence? Can the text's meaning be clearer? Is there anything that would make a reader say "Huh?" I can calmly resolve these issues.

I copy edited articles for the premiere and second editions of Afloat USA magazine, focusing on The Best of Everything On And Around The Water. I also proofread PDFs.
The Independent newspaper (East Hampton)
I copy edited both news and entertainment articles for a weekly newspaper, called The Independent . I also proofread all pages to catch any lingering mistakes before they went to press. I had also worked at the paper from 2000-2006.
