My personal interests are in the realm of magical realism and nature writing, but having delved into a vast array of subjects in my professional life – from the food and drink industry to cryptocurrencies to interiors – I have a proven track record of flexibility in writing and editing. As long as you write with passion, I can guarantee that I'll become your number one cheerleader, whatever your subject matter.
While I love to write myself, editing is a real passion. Meticulously tweaking sentences and nudging words around the page to create paragraphs that vibrate with life is what gets me out of bed every day. As a writer myself, I know how to deliver edits gently, but firmly. I can also be a bit of a perfectionist, which isn't the worst quality for an editor to have!

I write, edit and commission content for the UK’s largest circulated fine food trade title.
I conduct dozens of interviews with industry experts each issue to provide insightful features aimed at fine food industry retailers, as well as directing design, commissioning columns, reviewing products, and writing news stories to tight deadlines.
I am also in charge of the brand's online content, which I write and edit, as well as running our social media accounts and organising our daily email newsletter.

I worked across the publisher's craft (Make it Today, Craft Club, Let's Knit and Sew), interior design (Modern Home), food (Speciality Food) and health titles (Natural Health, Health & Wellbeing), writing and editing content for print publications, bookazines, advertorials and newsletters.

I wrote business features, news stories and opinion columns across four B2B publications, spanning economics, science and technology, management and travel. I also produced advertorials, supplements and press releases for each issue.
