Overview
With over two decades of experience as a graphic designer and art director, I’ve lived and worked in Brazil, NYC, France, and Switzerland doing creative work for prestigious brands. 4 years ago I transitioned to being a full-time artist to pursue my true passion. Nowadays I love creating exquisite nature-inspired illustrations, particularly botanical art, for publishers, editors, and brands. My background in luxury design infuses my work with a refined and sophisticated style, ensuring each illustration is as unique and elegant as the clients I collaborate with.

Work experience
Clarissa P. Valaeys Art
I specialise in flora and fauna illustrations, creating bespoke artwork for editors, interior designers, book publishers, brands, and private clients. My work encompasses meticulous analog and digital illustrations that can be applied across a broad spectrum of applications, including fabric design, book covers, wall coverings, packaging, and more.
I love working on custom illustrations for clients. Recently I've finished a large scale illustration for a panoramic wallpaper that is going to be 4
meters high for a Parisian maison called Paradisio Imaginarium. I had a blast creating this tropical scene inspired by colonial Brazil.
I've done work for Chopard, Caran d'Ache, Vacheron Constantin, Pierre Frey Paris, Paradisio Imaginarium, etc.
