Cat Taylor – Designer

A highly experienced art director and book designer with over 15 years experience. As an ex Senior in-house designer at Penguin Random House I have worked on a wide variety of projects, including cookbooks, self-help books, children’s picture books, biographies and well-crafted novels.

I am a typography nerd, and keep an eye on current design and market trends. I understand what it takes to design a book that targets the right audience, stands out on the shelf, and speaks to the quality and attention to detail that has been invested into your project.

I love the research process and will invest the time that is needed to fully understand the project's scope before I launch into the design.

I am highly flexible, open to ideas, and committed to the timelines that my clients establish.
