Overview

I have been an editor in K-12 educational materials, textbooks, ancillary material, and online programs for the last 15+ years. Before that I had 6 years of classroom experience in Chicago schools. I've written so many lessons I can't remember them all. One of the most fun project was a K-5 textbook series that used comics along with more traditional sources to create a fun student experience.

I also have experience in fact checking and copy editing.

Recent projects have included: Nystrom Young Citizen- K-5 social studies program including text books, ancillary readers, activity cards, hands-on lessons, and group projects based on service learning. Oklahoma History Project- 10th grade assessment series based on primary source learning.
