Overview

As a proofreader for a Big Five publisher, I have deep experience in both adult fiction and nonfiction, many of them bestsellers. My favorite genres are women's fiction, historical fiction, and prescriptive nonfiction. As a top editor in the features departments of major-market daily newspapers for more than two decades, I honed my writing and editing skills and met deadlines without fail. As managing editor for an independent publisher, I helped authors produce top-quality, highly illustrated nonfiction books on a wide variety of topics. I love helping authors polish their work and am known for retaining author voice while always meeting deadlines. The books in this portfolio focus solely on my work as a professional proofreader.
