Overview

I have 13 years experience as a freelance editor for publishing houses, news media, academic institutions, legal publications, and individual/independent authors. I edit fiction (mainly Christian), nonfiction, academic and legal writing, as well as news and periodicals. Novels and anthologies, academic journals, textbooks, legal briefs and articles, historical and nonfiction, fact checks, source checks, etc. Copyediting and proofreading, with some experience in line and developmental editing as well.


I love showing authors how to make their work shine, as well as pointing out places where they're already doing great. I put each manuscript through at least one thorough read-through, as well as two rounds of specific checks. If a passage or idea needs a little work I can give examples and suggestions to help spark creativity. If something already sings, I'll let you know!
