My first decade of publishing was spent in-house, working largely on non-fiction books, from childcare, health and self-help to political exposes, celebrity memoirs and everything you could want to know about horses. As a freelancer, my horizons have been further broadened by the range of copy I edit: my schedule can start with a twisted psychological thriller, followed by a report on deforestation and climate change, and finish off with some debut romantic fiction.
