Overview
| Crafting True Stories of Transformation, Trauma, Survival, Chronic Illness, and Healing
I am passionate about helping authentic individuals write their memoirs with the narrative drive of a novel. In nine years at a professional ghostwriting agency, I discovered that trusting relationships are crucial for effective collaboration. Now, as a disabled author and mother, I offer the creativity, experience, and emotional intelligence to guide you through the memoir process. Telling your story will change your life—I can't wait to hear it.

The Ghostwriting Process:
To capture your voice, I will begin as your audience. We will conduct video interviews for a comprehensive understanding of your story before I research, organize, and outline your memoir. Together, we’ll effectively illustrate scenes from your memory to create a disarming introduction and rich narrative chapters. Your manuscript will be readable, relatable, and clear! Finally, I will prepare a Book Proposal fit for publication and teach you how to think like an author. I respect my clients' privacy with NDAs, and they consistently express satisfaction and emotional catharsis in working with me.
My writing career started with an English Literature degree and a best-selling WWII historical novel. After my book was traditionally published in 2012, I was recruited by a ghostwriting agency, which helped me to complete many successful fiction and nonfiction manuscripts. Whether you are searching for a full-service ghostwriter or a skilled content editor, I can polish your manuscript to ensure your memoir’s resonance readers and publishers. For your next step, please contact me for a consultation call to discuss your goals!
Testimonials:
When I was introduced to Carrie as a potential ghostwriter, immediately, we clicked. She got me. My voice. My passion. My experiences, even though she herself had never lived them. I am so grateful to Carrie for helping me find my voice and help guide me through a very emotional experience. I cannot speak highly enough of Carrie, not only of her skill as a writer, but also as a human, and a compassionate one at that.
—Brenna Kean, Author of "Baby Goat Rising" (2022)
Carrie’s impeccable writing and editing skills combined with her ability to listen make her a well-rounded professional ghostwriter. I had a wonderful experience working with her.
