Overview
I am a Sunday Times Top Ten bestselling author and an accomplished ghostwriter with over 17 years of professional experience. As the biographer behind more than a dozen successful published titles, I specialise in historical memoirs and biographies, to books addressing sensitive and complex themes such as domestic abuse, child exploitation, human trafficking, war, and personal trauma.
My passion lies in bringing powerful, authentic stories to life. I take a highly collaborative and bespoke approach to each project, adapting to the specific needs of my clients, whether that means conducting interviews over Zoom, travelling to meet them in person, or working through emails, letters, and handwritten notes.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with bestselling authors and notable public figures, contributing to works that have achieved both commercial success and critical recognition. My ghostwritten projects include a Booker Prize Entry and a title shortlisted for the Hemingway Book Award. I have completed over a dozen projects through the Reedsy platform, consistently delivering high quality, publication ready manuscripts.
In addition to ghostwriting, I am a director at Fortis Publishing, an independent publishing house committed to producing exceptional books across all genres. In this role, I work closely with authors not only to shape and refine their manuscripts, but also to develop strategic book proposals, marketing plans, and launch strategies aimed at long-term literary success.
More recently, my focus has extended to writing books with strong potential for adaptation into film and television. With a deep understanding of the plot structure and audience engagement, I help transform powerful life stories into screen-worthy material, bridging the gap between the publishing and entertainment industries.
