Overview
The best thing I can say about myself is that I love my job. I love stories, reading them and translating them. Over the years, I have translated some of my favorite books for the traditional market, and now I search to expand my prospects and discover new voices and stories.
I have translated YA and adult books, mostly fantasy and science fiction, by authors like Nnedi Okorafor, Zen Cho, and Ava Reid. However, I am now translating more contemporary fiction and memoirs, and I'm working in secret projects that, hopefully, I will be able to talk about soon!
I really enjoy discovering new perspectives and, as a queer person, I am interested in LGBTQIA+ narratives, both for young and adult readers. I have translated books by trans authors such as Neon Yang, Elliot Page, and Akwaeke Emezi.
