Hi, my name is Caitlin and I'm an illustrator, designer, and the author/creator of The Illuminated Tarot and The Happy Houseplant series, published by Clarkson Potter. I've worked on book cover and interior illustrations for Penguin Random House, Chronicle Books, Quirk Books, Abrams, and DK among others.

I love to work on all kinds of illustrated book covers and interiors but you can get a sense of my interests and style by looking through my portfolio.

My fees are flexible, depending on the scale of the project, complexity of artwork, and the number of rounds and revisions needed to find a design that you're really excited about.

*A few tips for requesting a book cover quote:

2) Seeing an example from my portfolio in your project inspiration section tells me that you're familiar with the style I work in, and that I'm likely a good fit for your project. Other images that you find inspiring and relevant, such as other book covers, artwork, or photos, are also helpful to see.

3) I prefer not to receive AI-generated images for inspiration or reference.

A note about copyright: I attach my own terms to project quotes as I don't do work-for-hire. When you work with me to illustrate your book cover, the fee includes usage for anything related to the book title - including any usage related to promotion of the book, e-book and audiobook versions, and any translations or subsequent editions of the same title. This tends to be more than enough usage for most authors but please feel free to send me a message anytime with questions!
