Bruno Álvarez – Translator

Hi! My name is Bruno and I'm a professional literary, medical, and audiovisual freelance translator.In the last three years, I've translated many documentaries and medical texts (mostly about nutrition), but most importantly I've worked for Spanish publishers to translate some of the best literary works into Spanish, such as:-The best-selling memoir Boy Erased, by Garrard Conley, now a major motion picture and a Lambda Literary Award nominee;-Tin Man, a novel by the internationally best-selling author Sarah Winman;-Ariel y los cuerpos, a poetic and brilliant novel by author and playwright Sebastià Portell;-How We Fight for our Lives, a memoir by Saeed Jones, winner of the Kirkus Prize and the Stonewall Book Award;-The YALSA William C. Morris Award Winner, YA novel Darius the Great Is Not Okay, by Adib Khorram;-Swimming in the Dark, a Guardian "Book of the Year" by author Tomasz Jedrowski. This translation will be published next year. I'd love to translate more LGTBQ+ literature, autobiographies, YA and MG literature, romance, thrillers... Any literary creation is welcome!
