Bridget Gevaux – Editor

English proofreader and copy-editor. Professional Member of the Chartered Institute for Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).

Overview

I'm an English proofreader and copy-editor with over 18 years' experience. Most of my clients are international publishers and independent book authors. As a freelance proofreader, I work on any genre, whether fiction/nonfiction, children's books, romance, Sci-Fi, historical, biographical. I am also happy to accept academic manuscripts and research articles. I can make a huge improvement to your manuscript. Why not contact me for a no obligation quote. Put me to the test!

I offer a friendly, affordable and reliable editing service to authors. I will ensure your manuscript is polished and ready for publication.

As well as manuscript editing for publishers and self-publishing authors, I offer a student/academic proofreading service at reduced rates. I have a BA degree and MA in Classical Studies and understand the importance of clear, plain English language when writing your dissertation or thesis.

I will proofread your PhD thesis or manuscript to check for spelling, punctuation and grammar errors, correcting sentence structure and suggesting appropriate word choice where necessary. I will therefore ensure your work is polished and error free.
