Brenna Cleeland – Editor

I'm a 32-year-old editor with experience in medical editing, textbook publishing, technical editing, and copyediting and proofreading for a behavioral health research company. I graduated with a BA in English literature from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012, after which I moved to New York City to complete NYU's Summer Publishing Institute. I then relocated to Boston, MA where I worked for UpToDate, Macmillan Education (formerly Bedford/St. Martin's), Analog Devices, and Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). My personal favorite project that I've worked on during my career was copyediting and proofreading for the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) series of wellness and recovery books while I was at AHP. Although I have since left the publishing and editing field to pursue other career interests, I am still hoping to continue copyediting and proofreading projects on the side.
