Overview

I'm a freelance editor and proofreader with seven years of experience working in publishing, mostly recently with one of the big five publishers in New York City, Macmillan Publishers. I've edited a variety of manuscripts for them across all genres and would love to continue this work on a freelance basis in Chicago. I am proficient in the Chicago Manual of Style and can adapt quickly to any preferred style.

Examples of books I've proofread and provided editorial support for include, but are not limited to:

- Dominus by Steven Saylor (New York Times bestselling author)
- Running Out of Road by Daniel Friedman (Nominated for an Edgar Award)
- Float Plan by Trish Dollar (A Must-Read for Good Morning America, Oprah Magazine, Buzzfeed, and more)
- Drive-Thru Dreams: A Journey Through the Heart of America's Fast-Food Kingdom by Adam Chandler (A Publishers Weekly Book of the Week)

*I also have experience editing and proofing graphic novels, indexing, and more.

Bibiana did a terrific, high-quality job editing my non fiction book. Her edit’s were thorough and she even hopped on the phone with me to walk me through my questions and agreed to a follow-up edit after my second pass. Thanks so much Bibiana and your eye is so valued for your work!
