Passionate about emerging voices with something important to say. I am specialized in Christian non-fiction editing with a master's degree in theology. My experience is at university and academic presses where I have edited manuscripts with a range of topics, including theology, biblical studies, religious history, literature, culture, and philosophy. I am also interested in editing Christian living books.I take an incredibly optimistic approach to editing and can see potential in any draft. Some things I love about developmental editing are talking ideas, creating an effective table of contents, and turning academic research into everyday language. Focusing on sentence structure and flow of the chapter, turning weak sentences into strong ones, and making sure the reader will understand your point is what I like about draft editing. Above all, my favorite thing about editing is working with authors. My goal is to encourage authors which in turn strengthens their work. I am dedicated and motivated to make books be the best they can be!
