I am a published translator with more than 30 years of translation experience in a variety of subject areas such as legal, commercial, technical, medical, microbiological and biomedical. I have translated heaps of everyday readings from letters through brochures, manuals and flyers to contracts and a lot of high-profile issues. In the past I specialised on translating travel books (Viva Twin Malaysia 1998; Vis à Vis Istanbul 1999; Viva Guide Turkish Coast 1998), and children's books (Shelley Tanaka: In the Time of Knights 2008); I proofread, revised, or translated blurb (Iris Lemanczyk: Mein Lehrer kommt im Briefumschlag 2010; Doris Thomas: Zabu, The Adventures of a Young Orca 2008/Die Abenteuer eines jungen Schwertwals 2007; James Watson: Entenlärm in Buxtehude/The Noisy Ducks of Buxtehude 2007). In the last couple of years I enjoyed translating museum brochures such as Arp Schnitger and Pipe Organs, or Architecture in the Altes Land, Germany. Most recently I immersed in translating cookery books as well as medical and psychological non-fiction (Shawn Achor: The Happiness Advantage 2020; Jackson MacKenzie: Whole Again 2021; The Pollan Family: Mostly Plants 2020; Thomas/Margulis: Vaccine Friendly Plan 2021 (co-translation); Melissa Clark: Dinner in French, to be published soon; and more to come). I love juggling with words, and I provide reliable professional translation services with heart and soul.
