Hello, my name is Andy and I'm a freelance book cover designer with 30 years experience in publishing and print. My career began in advertising, working on branding projects, press adverts, brochures and marketing material, after which I had the opportunity to work freelance designing medical and nursing book covers for Holt Saunders (an imprint of Elsevier Science). I really enjoyed designing book interiors and covers, so from this point I decided to concentrate on publishing work and have continued to do so for the last 3 decades.During this time, I have worked for many well known publishers including the Royal College of Nursing, Hodder & Stoughton, Taylor & Francis, Harper Collins and Simon & Schuster, however, I have also worked with dozens of independent authors and small publishing houses.I work across all genres and subjects, both fiction and non-fiction, creating striking designs which catch the eye and stand out against the competition. I pride myself on the ability to understand what an author is are looking for and then deliver practical solutions, on time and within budget. When keeping costs down is an important consideration, I can advise author's on how to achieve a great looking cover which won't break the bank. Please take a look at my portfolio to see the wide range of subjects and styles I work in. If you like what you see, get in touch to find out how I can ensure that you get what you're looking for.–––––––––––––––Some comments from my clients:

The dual aspect is eye-catching and stunning. Christina said you were good, she didn't say just how good. I take my hat off to you.
