Andrea Purdie – Designer

I am a former Art Director and Designer at a major fiction publisher who has been working as a freelance for the past 30 years. I have a degree in Typography & Graphic Design from the University of Reading.

I began my career in educational publishing then moved on to book cover design and art direction for a major publisher. I have broad experience across all aspects of publishing as well as excellent proofreading ability.

My aim is always to design a book with beautiful and visually accessible typography from the opening title page to the last acknowledgement. I am always open to authors' suggestions and very easy to collaborate with.

As well as design and artwork for printed books I am also able to produce files to upload as ebooks if this is what you require.
