I'm a communicative and collaborative professional, and I love working with authors to shape a story! I pose questions, provide suggestions, and work with authors to find the best solution to elevate their manuscript. I look at the plot, the pacing, the character motivation and emotion, and how all story elements work together.
I was most recently a Senior Acquisitions Editor at Beaming Books/1517 Media. Prior to that, I worked at Albert Whitman & Company for six years. I've worked with a wide array of authors including Laura Gehl, Marsha Diane Arnold, Alexandra Alessandri, and Laurie Wallmark.
