Overview
For the last 30 years, I have written and edited for numerous publications including serving as a copy editor, proofreader and contract production editor for an imprint of one of the Big Five publishers.
I have edited contemporary romances, historical romances, mystery, and suspense, as well as several nonfiction books. While I enjoy wordsmithing all genres, I have a soft spot for romance. My detail-oriented nature lends itself to noting timeline issues and inconsistent character behavior.
In 2023, I earned my MFA in Creative Writing. I have published one novel, "Unexpected Love," and have several works in progress. As a writer, I have a bad habit of leaving out words, especially the word "not."

As a full time employee, I did copyedits and proofreading on both fiction and nonfiction books for this division of Random House. As a freelance production editor, I worked with authors, copyeditors and proofreaders in finalizing books during the production stages.
High School / K12 Charter School
Working in communications for a high school and now a K12 charter school, I write news articles about the school, edit communications with our community, as well as manage the school's social media accounts and website.
