Alexandra Chapman – Editor

I have always been passionate about books and the world of publishing - I insisted I wanted to be an editor from the age of 12 and here I am! I completed my degree in English Literature at Cardiff University, during which I dipped my toe into children's literature and creative writing. After a brief career in legal aid law administration, I took up a job at Igloo Books, an imprint of Bonnier Books, in July 2019, where I (happily!) remain to this day.

I specialise in children's literature, but also have experience in editing adult titles on the topics of health and wellbeing, mysticism and spirituality, puzzle, game and craft. My services include proofreading, copywriting, researching, fact-checking, improving flair and other general editorial tasks. I have also been working as a freelancer for two years and have completed a range of creative writing projects including story and poetry writing and producing marketing copy.
