I have twenty years' experience of editing, project-managing, and packaging books about music and popular culture, from free jazz to Star Wars and almost everything in between. Having produced books for a range of publishers in the UK and the USA, I have a wide knowledge and hands-on understanding of every stage of the publishing process, from commissioning new authors and manuscript development to art direction and beyond.
I am available to assist at every point along the way to make your book the best it can possibly be, whether it's offering structural and conceptual advice on an early draft or giving the final polish to a completed manuscript. As well as being an experienced commissioning editor, I also have a keen eye for typography and interior layout design. I offer a fuss-free bespoke packaging service, taking your project from raw text document to print-ready PDF.

I have been part of the Jawbone Press imprint since its inception in 2007, commissioning and developing 6–10 new titles each year and overseeing every stage of each book's development, from editing and design to marketing and promotion.
As a freelance editor, project manager, and book packager, I have overseen the creation of dozens of books for a wide array of non-fiction publishers, including memoirs, cultural histories, instructional manuals, and more.
