Zoe Sandler

Zoe Sandler – Editor

Former literary agent whose keen eye for writer talent is now applied to meticulous edits for a range of genres.

Overview

As a literary agent I represented a mix of narrative nonfiction primarily by journalists, fiction categorized as commercial yet unconventional, and select middle grade and picture book titles. Among my former clients’ work were several New York Times and National Bestsellers; a Reese's Book Club Pick; an Anthony, Macavity, and Shamus Award winner; and a Society of Environmental Journalists’ Rachel Carson Environment Book Award winner.

My earliest days in publishing were spent proofreading law textbooks and drafting marketing copy for an academic press, where I honed my editorial skills and strengths.

During my decade-plus time as an agent in the trade publishing industry I applied my editorial expertise to helping my author clients revise their manuscripts, crafting pitch letters to editors, and generating jacket copy for the books I represented.

I have a strong attention to detail, work efficiently, and write with clarity. I look forward to offering my extensive proofreading and copyediting services to you for your project!
