Zixiao Chang – Designer

I started to focus on book illustration since 2015, after designing book cover for serval years. I have worked with publishers overseas and illustrated a series of children’s books. I also collaborate with comic writers and animators on graphic novel projects.

I work closely with authors and editors to understand their ideas and opinions. Each book is unique, I like to celebrate their spirits. From storyboarding to coloured artwork, every step I ensure to bring the most suitable illustrations to express stories. I use both traditional and digital methods to create images, so I can efficiently explore possible visual solutions to meet each book’s different requirements, also to add my creativities to the book.
