Overview
I have worked in the magazine business for over 30 years. Twenty of those years were spent at Rolling Stone, where I was chief features editor and then, for nine years, the magazine's Managing Editor, responsible for all aspects of the Rolling Stone's editorial operation. In the time I ran Rolling Stone, we won numerous awards and I conceived, assigned and edited a number of articles that went on to become best-selling books, among them Fast-Food Nation and Generation Kill. Since leaving the Rolling Stone, I have been working as a book doctor, screenwriter and strategist. I am an excellent line editor and pride myself on my ability to work with writers to bring their visions alive.
