Overview

"Working with Chris was an absolute pleasure. My manuscript is far better for it, and so am I as a writer. His insights into writing, as well as the publishing industry, have proved invaluable thus far. I plan on submitting my next book (and those that follow) to Chris." Dan Donato

"Chris was an excellent editor for the whole process. He helped me improve my writing, suggested cuts and additions, and spotted plot problems. He also offered lots of encouragement and positive feedback. I highly recommend him and would definitely use him again." John Winn Miller

I have twenty years' experience in New York City publishing with a focus on history, military history, politics, current affairs and conflicts, memoirs and biographies, as well as fiction including military action thrillers, science fiction, and fantasy. I’ve worked with New York Times bestselling authors including members of Delta Force and the Navy SEALs, Army Rangers made famous in Black Hawk Down, Vietnam veterans including Green Berets, LRRPs, snipers, and a Marine Special Operations commander. I started at Ballantine and Del Rey Books of Random House and went on to create the Stackpole Military History Series with over 200 titles published and over 1,300,000 books in print.

I'm also a published author of both fiction and nonfiction which gives me great insight into the many challenges faced by authors. I've been in your shoes, so I understand, and I'll do my best to help you craft the best book possible.

I have a Masters Degree (with distinction) in History (specializing in Military History), a Combined Honors B.A. in English and History, and an Honors B.A. in Political Science.
