As a bestselling and award-winning author myself, (published with PRH, William Morrow, and Sourcebooks) I'm very passionate about storytelling in all its forms! I'm also a teacher of twenty-five years (from the high school level to the graduate level) and a freelance editor of fifteen + years. I’ve worked with clients who are beginners as well as multi-published authors, many of whom have had success from signing with literary agents, selling to Big Five and indie publishers, and hitting bestseller lists, to signing deals for book-to-film adaptations.

WHAT I OFFER

I edit fiction (novels or short stories) of all genres with the exception of horror, picture books, or high fantasy. I also edit query letters and synopses. (I've worked on over five hundred of these.) At this time, I do not edit non-fiction or memoirs. I also do not do copy editing.

Beyond editing, I offer a consultation service for writers in need of publishing advice or guidance whether it be starting their careers, moving in a different direction, marketing and book placement, or other industry-related questions.
