Hi! I'm a copy editor and proofreader with a background in print publishing and film criticism. For over 5 years I've been working at the Millennium Film Journal, the longest-running avant-garde film publication since 1978. As managing editor, I have edited, copy edited, and proofread dozens of articles, and I've developed a keen ear for flow, clarity, and accuracy, as well as a laser-focused eye for errors. I'm adept at MLA and Chicago style citations, and have also freelance copy edited academic books.

I take a granular, word-by-word approach to sentences, but years of practice with tight deadlines have enabled me to scan writing quickly, and I can turn even the clunkiest text into a smooth, error-free manuscript on short notice.
