Having spent twelve years at Pan Macmillan and HarperCollins, editing bestselling fiction authors, I now offer a range of expert publishing services. My areas of expertise encompass women's fiction, crime thriller, suspense and historical fiction.

During my time at Pan Macmillan, I worked with bestselling authors such as Danielle Steel, Lucy Diamond, Karen Swan, Annie Murray and Elaine Everest. At HarperCollins, I worked with Cecelia Ahern, Lauren Weisberger and Philippa Gregory. Having established great relationships with publishers throughout my career, I continue to work with HarperCollins, Pan Macmillan, alongside digital pioneers Bookouture and Aria.

No author is the same, and the same is true of your book. I offer a bespoke service to every project. Whether it be a complete structural edit of your text, where I send suggestions as to how you might get your book ready for agent submission or publication. Perhaps you have an agent, and you need my assistance line editing to make sure that your book stands out when it reaches the commissioning editor’s desk?

As a commissioning editor, I understand the need for eye-catching titles and how they will position your book in the market. If you need a title or copy advice, these are services I can offer.

Finally, I work for a digital book club called The Pigeonhole which runs serialisations for bestselling and debut fiction. Over the past twelve months, I've worked on the campaigns for Jodi Picoult, Kate Morton, Sophie Kinsella, Ruth Ware and Shari Lapena. I'm tapped into market trends and can apply all of this knowledge to your novel.

Look forward to working with you soon!

I was lucky to have Victoria Hughes-Williams as my editor. She has a keen eye for redundancies and readers' sensibilities. Her line edits were excellent and extremely focused, not to mention brutally honest. Her notes were spot on, giving me insight into mistakes I had made and the pitfalls I needed to avoid.

I really enjoyed working with Victoria, she really understood what I wanted to achieve with this project and has helped me look at it in a way I would never have been able to by myself. I am really pleased with the quality of the edit and wouldn't think twice about working with Victoria again. Thank you so much for helping me with my book, I can't thank you enough!
