Csongor Veres – Designer

I'm a freelance Children's Book Illustrator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in illustration. With over 10 years of experience in the field, I have a strong background in visual storytelling and character design.

I'm an expert of such design tools as Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and traditional drawing and painting techniques (pencil, pen, ink, watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media). This allows me to create illustrations that are versatile and unique, tailored to your specific needs and preferences.

I specialize in illustrating for picture books, fairy tales, book covers and I draw inspiration from nature, children, dreams, travel, magic, and kindness. My work has been published by international publishing houses like Hallmark and Happiness Mountain Inc.

My working process typically involves discussing your ideas and details first. Following that, I develop characters in black and white, allowing for easy adjustments if necessary. Next, we move on to storyboarding, and once you approve the layout, I proceed with creating the final colored illustrations. Additionally, I can handle the book design for you, eliminating the need to hire a separate book designer.
