Olga Barinova – Designer

Hey there! I'm Olga, an award winning children's book illustrator based in Canada. With a Design degree from Alberta University of the Arts and over 6 years experience working as an illustrator. My main focus is picture books. I like to work digitally but strive to give my artwork a traditional look inspired by materials like gouache and colour pencils. I use bright and vibrant colour palettes to give my illustrations a whimsical look. My mission is to make illustrations that not only entertain but also educate and empower young readers. I draw inspiration from childhood memories, nature, and my creative peers. I'm a book enthusiast, and my work is a celebration of childhood through the art of storytelling.
